Saccades

Saccades began in 2019, releasing film rolls over 52 weeks. The first phase of the work is now owned by people in countries including Norway, Singapore, the United States, the U.K. and Korea. Saccades II runs from 2021-2022.

Saccades combines photography and storytelling. This is an artwork that hands viewers control over the content. The project delivers one roll of photographic film each week, as well as a soundscape and a graphic diary. Viewers who buy into the project get the option to obtain a film, undeveloped, numbered and signed, which they can choose to reveal or not. Viewers who obtain a film can print and submit one of the images, or not, for the Saccades end-of-project photobook and exhibition, to be held early in 2022.
